Recently, the residence was completely renovated without altering its features and maintaining the fascination of its past history. Rooms are large, have high painted ceilings, frescoed walls and are elegantly decorated. All rooms have "en suite" bathrooms, fitted in marble. The whole residence is air-conditioned.

The Palazzo was originally built by the Naldinis, an important family of Florentine merchants and bankers. It, remained in the Naldini family until 1891, when the last descendant, Cristina, married Marchese Eugenio Niccolini di Camugliano and brought into this family as part of her dowry.

The present owners, Filippo and Ginevra Niccolini di Camugliano, personally supervised the renovation works and oversee the residence in all details, in order to ensure that guests be offered a top quality treatment, comparable to that of a luxury hotel.

Camugliano is situated on the highest slopes of the hills that from Volterra coduct to Pisa's plain between the countries of Capannoli and Ponsacco; is an agricultural estate of 580 hectares, with a breeding of approximately 200 bovine heads Limousine, totally lead with certified biological agriculture.
Famous for hunting preserve where, inside of a secular park, the struck to the pheasants at the english way, among the most famous and ambit of Italy, are carried out.
At inside of the Property, belonged during the centuries also to the Medici family, constituted of forty farms and relative colonic houses the splendid villa restructured from Marquis Filippo Niccolini on 1637 ancestor of the present owners.
In the past last years the most careful works of restoration of some of the most beautiful colonic hamlet of the Property, that have become authentic villas with every comfort and that are rented to selected guests, mostly foreigners.

The origin of Villa Votanidi dates back to the beginning of the '900 and it is dipped in very silent forest, from where the peace and the hills of the Mugello can be enjoyed as from nowhere else.
It has been for years the dwelling of the artist Mila Martini Niccolini, student of Peter Annigoni, who has captured the atmosphere and the emotions in her paintings. It has been restored with charme and attention to the recovery of the decoration and the frescoes from Marco Chini, the owner painted also the frescoes of the tower.
Each room has it's private bathroom. In the depandance, are located apart from the security guard's apartment, the study of the artistic facing the swimming pool.
